This month, we’d like to place the spotlight on Tyler, who has been with Metro Taxi, Accessible Dispatch’s parent company, for the past 6 months!

Tyler, whose job is to facilitate the communications between the drivers and the passengers, enjoys the amount of diverse people he gets to talk to on a daily basis. “It’s great to know that I am serving a purpose by helping the disability community,” he says.

April’s recognition for Accessible Dispatch Dispatcher of the Month goes to Erik, who has been dispatching for Metro Taxi, Accessible Dispatch’s parent company, for the past two years!

Erik, who enjoy sports such as basketball (“it’s great form exercise!”), music, and traveling, is a graduate student at a nearby university, studying journalism. Although the technology – sending automated text confirmations, tracking the fleet with GPS mapping – is “pretty amazing,” Erik says working with drivers that come from all over the world is the best part.…

Stephanie, a part-time student in college who has a passion for singing, works for Metro Taxi, Accessible Dispatch’s parent company and recently started dispatching since January 2015. Accessible Dispatch Dispatcher of the Month: Meet Sam!

February’s Accessible Dispatch Dispatcher of the Month award goes to Sam, an employee with Accessible Dispatch’s parent company, Metro Taxi CT, since 2013!

Sam, who enjoys playing and listening to music, is a second shift dispatcher whose days begin at 4 p.m. Depending on the day, the weather, and the season, Sam’s call volume fluctuates from hundreds of calls to a low amount of calls. The most difficult part of his job? “The traffic in the city is unpredictable and a challenge,” Sam explains, “Especially during rush hour, when everyone is leaving work at the same time and making a mad dash for a cab.

For December’s edition of Accessible Dispatch Dispatcher of the Month, we’d like to place the spotlight on Patrick, who has been with Metro Taxi, Accessible Dispatch’s parent company, since February 2014!

Patrick, who enjoys spending time with his family and coaching football, originally started as a dispatcher because he enjoyed the growth and daily opportunities given. “The taxi industry is growing as we speak, and talking to different people and providing them with transportation in a timely fashion is great,” Patrick says, “It’s so exciting to be a part of it.”
